Arab social media alarmed by burkini ban in France
Photos of French police making a Muslim woman on a beach in Nice remove part of her full-body beach wear following a recent "burkini" ban have triggered angry reactions among Arab social media users.
French authorities in 15 towns have banned burkinis, citing public concern following recent terrorist attacks in the country.
The images have also fuelled a heated debate about the rise of Islamophobia in Europe.
