Innishannon: Woman critically ill after stabbing in Cork

A woman in her early 60s is critically ill after she was stabbed in County Cork.
She was found injured at a property in Innishannon in the west of the county at about 14:00 local time on Friday.
The woman was taken to Cork University Hospital and gardaí (Irish police) have cordoned off the scene of the stabbing for investigation.
A man in his early 30s has been arrested in connection with the attack.
