Ukraine conflict: EU sanctions ban on Russian oil will not be easy, says von der Leyen

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has been setting out details of a sixth package of sanctions, to be agreed in the coming days.

The proposals targeting Russia include sanctions on high-ranking military officers, preventing three state-owned broadcasters from distributing their content in the EU, and a ban on Russian oil imports by the end of this year.
