Paris shooting sparks unrest as Kurds protest

Scuffles have broken out on the streets of central Paris after an attack on a Kurdish cultural centre left three people dead and three people wounded.

Members of the Kurdish community flocked to the area to show solidarity and stage a protest vigil.

Some protesters started a fire in the middle of the street and threw chairs and other objects, while officers clad in riot gear responded by throwing tear gas.
