Pope Benedict XVI: Pope Francis gives thanks for predecessor's life

Pope Francis has paid tribute to his predecessor, Pope Benedict XVI, who has died at the age of 95.

The pontiff was speaking during vespers on New Year's Eve at Saint Peter's Basilica at the Vatican.
