France protests: Cities witness violence in May Day demonstrations

Protests against pension reforms continue in France, as hundreds of thousands of people demonstrated on May Day in cities across the country.

Most protests were peaceful but radical groups threw petrol bombs and fireworks at the police.

More than 108 police officers have been injured in the clashes, the interior minister said.
