Review of Guernsey utilities regulation to cost £55,000
- Published
The cost of a review into the way Guernsey's Utility Regulation system operates has been estimated to be £55,000, the States has announced.
The review is already under way and is being carried out by the UK's Regulatory Policy Institute.
Deputy Dave Jones led the calls for the review after concerns about competition in the electricity and postal sectors.
The report on the appropriateness and effectiveness of the regulator is expected to be completed by November.
