Guernsey unemployment increases

The number of people out of work in Guernsey rose to 454 in November.
The increase of 30 since October means that 1.4% of the island's working population are unemployed.
Of those registered as unemployed, 31 are working on States training schemes such as Kickstart and the Community and Environmental Project Scheme.
Men and women aged between 20 and 29 are the age group with the highest level of unemployment, with 117 people seeking work.
