Vote on Guernsey runway land sale 'is premature'

  • Published

A Guernsey deputy is claiming a vote on whether to force the sale of land at the western end of the airport's runway is premature.

Deputy David de Lisle said there was more to consider before a vote took place.

He said options like EMAS or arrester bed technology had yet to be investigated.

States members are due to consider the issue of compulsory purchase at their January meeting next week.
