Two bus drivers in Guernsey have been honoured for going out of their way to help people.

Stephen Rushton and Kevin Mahoney were nominated by passengers for the Driver of the Quarter award.

The award is part of a "Going the Extra Mile" scheme run by bus operator Island Coachways.

Hannah Beacom, Island Coachways managing director, said both men were excellent ambassadors for the company and deserved the recognition.
