Queen 'watches Bailiwick of Guernsey closely'

Guernsey's Lieutenant Governor has said that the Queen often knows more about the Bailiwick than he does.
This week Alderney and Sark have both held a Vin D'honneur to bid a fond farewell to His Excellency before he leaves office on 23 February.
Vice-Admiral Sir Fabian Malbon, who is her majesty's representative in the island, said she followed events in the Bailiwick closely.
He said: "Often when you go to brief her she knows much more than you do."
Sir Fabian said: "She is very interested in the dependencies.
"In Sark it's been a busy five years for them, they've had some big decisions to make, they've now got themselves a fully democratic government running the place. She knows that and keeps her eye on things."
The Queen is officially titled the Duke of Normandy in the islands.
