Bus cancellations due to Chuck Pryce's funeral

A number of Guernsey bus services were cancelled to allow drivers to attend the funeral of a popular colleague.
Chuck Pryce, 77, was a well-known bus inspector and had worked for Island Coachways for 18 years before he passed away earlier this month.
Eight routes were affected between 0930-1130 GMT.
Island Coachways has apologised to its customers for any inconvenience caused by the cancellations.
Hannah Beacom, managing director, said: "Chuck was a real character and will be sadly missed by all the team at Island Coachways."
Mr Pryce was easily recognisable with his pipe or hat - a straw boater for the summer months and warmer cap for the winter - and was well-known for his love of Aston Villa.
When he joined the company in 1993 he initially worked as a clipper on the replica tram, where he was responsible for meeting and greeting passengers and clipping tickets.
He then took on a position as a driver and often operated the Petit Bot shuttle before being promoted to inspector.
Mrs Beacom said: "Admiration for Chuck did not stop with his colleagues.
"He became a local tourist attraction and holiday makers would return year-on-year to see if Chuck was still at the terminus.
"Our sympathy is with his family and many friends."
