St Peter Port CCTV cameras to target littering

  • Published

More CCTV cameras are to be installed in a Guernsey parish in an effort to cut down on littering.

The cameras will be installed at a number of sites around St Peter Port and will be signposted clearly so people know they are being filmed.

St Peter Port Senior Constable Barry Cash said he hoped the cameras would act as a deterrent.

He said: "We want people to realise it's antisocial and we want them to dispose of their rubbish correctly."
