Five languages among 15 A* GSCEs for one Guernsey pupil

A 16-year-old Guernsey pupil has attained 15 A* GCSE passes, including results in five languages.
Oliver Yerby, of Elizabeth College, earned the results in French, German, Greek, Latin, Latin Literature and Russian, among other subjects.
The boys' school reported 56% of results were graded A* or A, and recorded a 94.2 percent A*-C pass rate.
George Hartley, the school's principal, said: "I am very pleased with these excellent results."
Results are expected from Guernsey's other schools throughout the day.
