Guernsey's Home Department has unveiled a new electoral roll and campaign encouraging people to register to vote.
With the island's next general election due to take place on 18 April 2012, the new roll has now opened, allowing residents to add their names.
Anyone who wishes to vote must register, as the new roll will not use any information from previous ones.
Registration forms will be sent to every household and islanders must sign up by 29 February 2012.
The Home Department aims to use the campaign, Election2012, to get 35,000 residents registered to vote.
