Guernsey Electricity has reassured residents and businesses that supplies are secure in the wake of an island-wide power cut.

Guernsey is again receiving all its power from France after an island-wide power cut on Monday.

Alan Bates said, MD of Guernsey Electricity, said the security of supply was "really, really good.

"People's expectation now is that electricity is 100% secure. It is very secure, but will never be 100% secure."
