The group bought its first Guernsey hotel in 2008
Guernsey's Duke of Richmond hotel has been bought by an international hotel group.
The Red Carnation Group owns luxury hotels in the UK, the US, Switzerland and South Africa.
It already owns a hotel in the island, The Old Government House Hotel, which it bought in 2008 and has since become the island's only five star hotel.
Jonathan Raggett, chief executive, said the group was looking to invest and employ more staff.
