Alderney States asked to buy land for water project

  • Published

Two parcels of land in Alderney could be acquired by compulsory purchase for the island's water project, if the States agrees.

States members agreed to serve notice on the two pieces of land at L'Aie, La Grande Blaye, in September.

The General Service Committee has asked for the compulsory purchase to allow phase three of the project to go ahead.

If approved, water tanks and ancillary equipment would be installed on the sites.
