Guernsey's harbours and airport could be commercialised

  • Published

Proposals could be drawn up for the commercialisation of Guernsey Harbours and the island's airport, if States members agree.

The move has been recommended by separate reports into each business.

Consultants York Aviation examined Guernsey Airport, while Fishers Associates looked at St Peter Port and St Sampson's Harbours.

Deputies have been asked to note the reports and conduct more investigations into commercialising the businesses.

The proposals from the Public Services Department are due to be debated in March.
