Guernsey's States seeks islanders for review committee
- Published
Two islanders are being sought for a new States of Guernsey committee set up to review the island's government.
The group includes Chief Minister Peter Harwood and Deputy Matt Fallaize, the chairman of the States Assembly and Constitution Committee.
It will carry out the first review of the States since changes to the government were introduced in 2004.
As well as three more States members, two independent people are needed to complete the committee.
The formation of the Special Review Committee was approved after Deputy Matt Fallaize successfully led a motion aimed at reviewing the States.
Anyone interested in joining the group is asked to apply in writing to the chief minister.
