Change to Guernsey planning fees
- Published
Fees charged by Guernsey's Environment Department for planning applications are to change from 1 October.
They will rise in line with inflation but a new way of charging means some minor applications could work out cheaper.
Under the new system, different categories of minor applications will be amalgamated into a single one.
The new fees also apply to an appeal to the planning tribunal and deposits made for plans submitted.
The department says some applications would work out cheaper, for example an application to create access and erect a fence currently costs £127 but under the new system it would cost £100.
