Fog continues to affect Jersey and Guernsey flights

More disruption to flights in and out of the Channel Islands is expected after fog in the islands and the south of England earlier.

It was the second day of disruption to flights to Jersey and Guernsey.

On Monday just 10 flights landed in Guernsey and none left Jersey until after 17:00 BST.

Some planes were able to take off and arrive in the islands on Tuesday, but fog at some destination airports meant some remained on the ground.

A Jersey Airport spokesman said airlines advised passengers to check in as usual.
