Guernsey UK tax transparency agreement 'nearly finalised'

  • Published

A new tax information agreement between the UK and Guernsey is close to being finalised, according to Guernsey's Chief Minister.

Deputy Peter Harwood said the document would see more information about non-domiciled UK residents' tax affairs exchanges between the jurisdictions.

He said it would serve to help improve transparency and reduce international tax evasion.

The move would be similar to recent agreements made with the United States.
