A sea wall patio at L'Ancresse Bay has partially collapsed after it was damaged in the high tides.

Sand and gravel caused concrete to become unstable resulting in a hole at the wall's base.

The Environment Department said: "There is a risk that any sea defence wall may be undermined during high tides. It is not possible to rule out further damage."

The area will remain closed off while inspectors assess the damage.
