Guernsey airline to expand route to London City

State-owned Aurigny airline has applied to run a twice-daily route between Guernsey and London City.

If the Guernsey airline is successful, the service would begin in May.

Commercial director Malcolm Coupar said: "We are uniquely positioned to offer the service in combination with our Gatwick and Stansted flights.

"Aurigny is constantly looking at ways to develop its offering and offer greater value to its customers," he said.
