A wastewater pipe bridge erected by Guernsey Water has been dismantled.

The pipe bridge across the road at Les Banques, was built in June to temporarily replace the storm outfall pipe at Belle Grave Wastewater Centre.

Mark Walker, from Guernsey Water, said the bridge was "a precaution" and was not used when the storm water pipe was disconnected.

Traffic on the road was managed by stop and go signs while the bridge was dismantled.
