The fast ferry service between the Channel Islands and Poole has been cancelled due to the forecasted weather.

Condor Ferries said the forecast for Saturday, including winds of up to force seven, was for conditions "above our safe and legal operating limits".

It said it could not offer sailings on Sunday, when there are none currently scheduled, due to the weather.

The company said it would be offering customers alternative sailings.
