Accessible taxi licence applications open in Guernsey

Residents in Guernsey who are interested in operating an accessible taxi licence are being urged to come forward.

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing department is welcoming new applicants after the handover of two of the eight licences.

The States of Guernsey said vehicles would need to be wheelchair accessible and meet mandatory specifications.

The closing date to apply for a licence is 22 November.
