Improvements to pedestrian safety on two coastal roads have been completed.

The States of Guernsey said two new pedestrian walkways had been painted on Rue des Bordeaux and Castle Road to "improve road safety".

Alongside the new walkway and adjustments to the junction line markings, a bollard has been installed on the junction between the two roads.

It said vehicles turning left onto Castle Road would now be required to "give more space" to those walking.
