Isle of Man Civil Service jobs under threat

Up to 11 jobs are under threat at the Manx Department of Community, Culture and Leisure, a spokesman has confirmed.

Public Transport Division staff have been told savings were needed as the department was anticipating financial difficulties next year.

The department said it had "no option but to consider making savings from salaries budgets".

However, it said it was still early in the process and no decision on redundancies had been made.
