Bus timetable changes in force on Isle of Man

  • Published

Changes to the Isle of Man's bus timetable have come into force after complaints about revisions made last year were taken into account.

North Douglas MHKs John Houghton and Bill Henderson had claimed pensioners, disabled users and commuters were "hit hard" by the altered timetable.

The government then monitored bus usage for three months.

David Cretney, Minister for Community, Culture and Leisure, said the changes were made following customer feedback.

Routes covering Ballachrink in Onchan, Ballaughton Manor Hill and Victoria Road in Douglas are affected.

New timetables are now available from bus depots in Ramsey and Port Erin.

They are also available at the Welcome Centre in Douglas and online at iombusandrail.info., external
