The main vessel which supplies goods to the Isle of Man from the United Kingdom is due to go into dry dock on Friday for essential repairs.
The Ben-my-Chree, which will be out of service for three days, is being repaired at Cammell Laird shipyard.
The Steam Packet ferry company said repairs will be made to the bow thrust unit which was damaged earlier this year after the vessel ingested debris.
The Ben-my-Chree has been operating on one bow thrust unit since then.
The Steam Packet company added that over the weekend there will be additional freight-only services on the Manannan fast-craft vessel to ensure supplies reach Manx retailers.
Manannan sailings on Friday are scheduled for 08:45 (GMT) and 14:15 (GMT).
