The Isle of Man energy company Manx Gas has announced it is to increase the price of gas.
The company claimed global increases had forced up local prices and customers would face increases in both natural gas and LPG gas.
Natural gas will go up by 0.54p per unit while LPG will go up by 0.64p per unit.
A company spokesman said the price increases for both types of fuel were due to start from 10 May.
The price increases mean the average domestic natural gas central heating customer will pay an additional £54 per year while an average LPG customer will pay an extra £64 per year.
The Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading has been informed about the price rises.
