Brave swimmers set for Isle of Man dips

Hundreds of people have braved the waters of the Isle of Man to take part in the New Year's Dips.
The charity swims took place at beaches around the island including Douglas, Peel, Port St Mary and Gansey.
The Peel dip began in 1983, and the four dips in Chapel Beach, Port St Mary, Gansey and Port Erin are now in their 14th year.
Swimmers taking part in the annual swims often do so in a variety of fancy dress.
The Meteorological Office said the sea was about 8-9C at this time of year.
