ME sufferer welcomes launch of bespoke Isle of Man service

An ME sufferer has welcomed the launch of a new service set up for Long Covid and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) service sufferers.

It follows decades of campaigning by local groups dedicated to securing support for those affected.

Juan Corlett, chairman of ME Support Isle of Man, said he was diagnosed about seven years later than he could have been and stressed that early intervention was "absolutely crucial".
