Public piano set to be young Manx musician's 'legacy'

A public piano in memory of a young musician unveiled on the Isle of Man is designed to inspire others to discover a passion for music, his family has said.

The family of Cody Atzori, who was 17 when he died in 2021, said he had often wished for a piano for anyone to play in Douglas.

The instrument has now been installed at the Sea Terminal in Douglas with the help of Manx youth music charity Soundcheck.

Cody's mother, Liz Atzori, said the instrument will be his legacy and she hoped it would inspire more people to share her son's love of music.
