Hundreds of bikers to join festive ride out for children's hospice

Hundreds of motorcyclists donning festive outfits are set to take to the island's roads for the annual Santa's on a Bike ride out.
The event, which raises money for the Isle of Man's children's hospice, will set off from the TT Grandstand in Douglas at 10:00 GMT on Saturday.
The procession will start on the TT course before travelling to Peel and heading to Rebecca House in Braddan.
Last year's event had to be cancelled due to icy roads.
Those taking part in the ride out will be gathering at the grandstand from 09:00.
The 2023 route for the event has been extended to take in more of the island, including Foxdale and the Braaid.
The Isle of Man Constabulary warned there would be some "slight disruption to the road network" during the event, but it would be kept to an "absolutely minimum".
A police spokesman called on people to "be patient and plan their journey accordingly" and avoid the route if possible "if your journey is time critical".
