Canine cast takes centre stage in Isle of Man nativity

A cast of dogs have taken to the stage in a special performance of the Christmas story.

The beloved pets took on roles including Mary, Joseph and the Angel Gabriel in a special nativity in the north of the Isle of Man.

More than 100 people packed into the Jurby Parish Hall to watch the Dogtivity on Saturday.

The story was narrated by the Ramsey Baptist Church after rehearsals with the canine cast were held at the Busy Bee Dog Training school ahead of the show.

Trainer Debbie Martin said the performances by the pooches were "absolutely brilliant" and everything had gone to plan.
