Sailings of the Manxman resumed in Saturday night

Passenger ferry sailings from the Isle of Man to Lancashire have resumed after weekend disruption due to strong winds.

Journeys between Douglas and Heysham resumed overnight following the cancellation of Sunday's daytime crossings.

That came after the scrapping of Saturday night's sailing of the Manxman and its overnight return by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company.

Ronaldsway Met Office has warned gales are set to return on Wednesday.
