Isle of Man charity Santa Dash sees record numbers of runners

Hundreds of Santas dashing through the streets of the Manx capital have set a new record for an annual festive fundraiser.

The Santa Dash saw 401 runners don their trainers and red outfits to take part on Wednesday.

Now in its 22nd year, the event saw santas, reindeer, elves - and even a Tyrannosaurus rex - tackle the 1-mile (1.6km) course through the centre of Douglas in aid of charity

Organised by Isle of Man Bank, five local charities including the island’s Foodbank and mental health charity Isle Listen are among those set to benefit in 2023.
