Jersey water main burst closes road

Part of a road in a Jersey parish has been closed because of problems caused by a burst water main.

Water company and Transport and Technical Services engineers were called to the site in St Brelade after the main burst on Saturday.

Part of Le Mont Arthur has been closed so that the repairs could be carried out and the road resurfaced afterwards, engineers said.

The road is expected to remain closed for a few days because of the work.
