Jersey minister in international finance meeting

Jersey has been represented at a meeting of Commonwealth finance ministers for the first time.

At the meeting - held in Washington DC - Treasury Minister Senator Philip Ozouf had talks with the UK Chancellor George Osborne.

Senator Ozouf said the discussions included members of other offshore centres, including Gibraltar and the Isle of Man.

He described the talks with Mr Osborne as "cordial".
