Financial Times price rises in the Channel Islands
- Published
People in the Channel Islands are paying 30p more for their copy of the Financial Times.
From this week, the cost of the pink paper in the islands has risen to £2.30, compared to £2 in the UK.
A spokesperson for the newspaper said the decision had not been taken lightly and the new price reflected the escalating cost of serving the islands by air.
National newspapers arrive at Jersey airport every morning.
They are then distributed around the island by Jersey Distribution, a trading division of Jersey Evening Post Limited.
