Jersey Trinity car crash driver dies in hospital

A man who was involved in a car crash in Trinity in March died in Jersey General Hospital on Sunday.

Joao Correia, 35, was being treated in the intensive care unit at the St Helier hospital.

Mr Correia and his partner were seriously injured in the accident and were flown to Southampton for treatment.

Eight people were injured in the crash, involving three cars outside Trinity Stores on Sunday 6 March.

Three children were treated in Southampton and on Robin ward in Jersey.
