Jersey cadet force recruits new female instructors

Jersey's Army Cadet Force (ACF) has boosted the number of women in its ranks after recruiting four female instructors.

The organisation formerly had only male officers and lost its only woman instructor at short notice earlier this year.

ACF spokesman Dominic Egre said it now had two experienced female instructors and two more who would become trained.

He said he was very pleased at the calibre of the new recruits.
