Drivers told to 'expect long delays' by Jersey Water

Jersey Water is renewing water pipes in the Millbrook area of St Aubin's Inner Road.

The work will cause delays until the end of November, with the road closing completely over the school half term.

Carl Dodd, from Transport and Technical Services, said drivers should leave extra time or consider an alternative route.

Hugo Wilson from Jersey Water said the work was being done now as there were fewer cars on the road.

The closures were necessary to "reduce the risk of burst and safeguard customers' supply", he said.

The road will be closed between Waterworks Valley and Rue de Trachy from 22 to 30 October.
