RBS ends Channel Island personal banking services

Royal Bank of Scotland International will no longer be offering personal banking services in the Channel Islands.
Customers of the bank will instead be offered services under the NatWest brand, also owned by the company.
Steve Camm, managing director of retail, said the move would provide customers with a wider range of services and better branch network
He said there would be no redundancies due to the brand change
Mr Camm said: "A team of advisers will be available to customers throughout the process and in most cases customers will continue to deal with the same staff.
"RBS International corporate, business and commercial clients will remain unaffected by these changes."
The bank said the change would happen over the next 18 months.
