Jersey businesses have 'no problem' with earlier flight

A change to some flight times between Jersey and Gatwick airports will not affect business on the island, according to the Chamber of Commerce.

David Warr, from Jersey's chamber, said British Airways' decision to bring forward its last daily flight should not be problematic.

The airline announced its 19:45 departure to Gatwick had been moved to 17:20, but refused to comment further.

Mr Warr said businesspeople and commuters had sufficient alternatives.

British Airways announced it would begin operating its revised schedule on 31 March.
