Services have been held in Jersey and Guernsey to mark Holocaust Memorial Day.

In Jersey, services were held to remember the 22 people from the island who died in Nazi camps and prisons.

Prayers were held and flowers were also laid at the White Rock Memorial in Guernsey.

Holocaust Memorial Day is held on 27 January each year to mark the date when the camps at Auschwitz in Poland were liberated in 1945.
