Jersey house prices drift down

  • Published

Average house prices in Jersey were 2% lower in the first quarter of 2014 than in the same period a year ago.

Latest figures show three-bedroom home prices have fallen 7% in three months and are at their lowest since 2007.

Two-bed and four-bed property prices grew slightly, say States statisticians.

The average property price was £398,000, though, second only in the UK to London.

Overall, the Jersey house price index has been flat or falling since 2008.
